When searching for a lightweight double stroller the weight and size are key factors to take into consideration. Picking one that is simple to use and compact when not in use makes it easier to put in the trunk of your car and navigate through airport gates and streets.
The most lightweight strollers have an easy, intuitive fold that allows them to stand up on their own. This eases the burden on the body of the parent. Many strollers have multiple seating configurations, and some can accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families that are on moving. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels, front suspension and multi-position reclining seat accommodate children up to 50 pounds. Parent and child trays with a large storage basket as well as 3-tier extended canopy with peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to a flimsy feel as well as hard plastic seats and a design that seems old-fashioned. It is also more expensive than other strollers with a lighter weight. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for the cheapest option.

double pram pushchair 's not the tiniest stroller, but it comes with enough features that it is worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it is able to jump over curbs with minimal effort unlike other light strollers that veer off course when trying to accomplish the same thing. The Cloud's low, knee-high handle is a drawback. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push it with your legs dangling in the air and it's not helping that it lacks padding.
During testing, we found that the Cloud was simple to set up and opened. It's a little more challenging to close, however; you must slide a slider and then pull a big white button for it to collapse. This can be a hassle if you are juggling children while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket. It's big enough to fit an enormous diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud has two tray for parents and children with two cup holders, but both are too narrow to hold larger cups or bottles.
The Kolcraft brand has been in operation since 1946, and is a third-generation family-owned business. It weighs only 18 lbs, which is lighter than some single strollers. and it folds flat for easy transportation and storage. It also features independently reclining seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors with large windows with peekaboos and under-seat storage bags. The visors are adjustable to fit children of different heights. It also features a one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-sized approved.
Jeep's swivel wheel system is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller is not compatible with car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and have an excellent neck control in order to be able to ride in the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray, as well as cup holders for parents.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight stroller that can be used side by side. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's tinier and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of luxurious details that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have a few key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive, but has a better sun canopy and better maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller with lots of features. It's not only crazy lightweight at 13 pounds, but it offers plenty of storage space in the form of parent and child cup holders, a sippy-cup for the child pocket and a parent storage pocket and more. This stroller is also compatible with a child's seat and has a brake that flips that is easy to engage. This stroller is designed to expand as your child grows. It can be transformed from a baby to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separate) and is suitable for children ages 6 months and older.
Another thing to note about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking options which means it won't be the best choice for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It is able to maneuver well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces, though, so it's still an excellent option for most families.

Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents who want a stroller that is light and can hold two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable, and they offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This lets kids sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it offers a fully reclined seat, which makes it an ideal choice for nap time. The recline mechanism is simple to operate but it isn't genuinely flat; taller kids may find that they have an unbalanced leg when they sit in a reclined posture. It also has a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out sun than other options in our review of the best double strollers.
The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to maneuver through door frames. This was a major issue with other strollers we tested. It folds up quickly and the handlebars are close to the ground for easy carrying. Its only flaw is its limited storage space, which can feel tight when stuffed with kid stuff.

We also analyzed the durability and strength of each model, as well as whether it has an adult tray that can hold both children trays.
